DevOps Engineer
About the role
We run many Next.js, Laravel and NestJS apps for our clients, several of them on shared servers. Every push to main builds and deploys automatically, releases swap in with no downtime and roll back on failure, and Cloudflare sits in front of everything.
This is a part-time contract for someone who can own and improve that setup: make deployments faster and safer, harden servers, improve monitoring and backups, and help the team when production needs attention.
What you'll do
- Own our CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for Next.js, Laravel and Node.js apps
- Maintain zero-downtime deploys with automatic rollback
- Manage Linux servers, Nginx, PM2, Docker, and PostgreSQL and MySQL databases
- Configure Cloudflare: DNS, caching, TLS, WAF rules and Turnstile
- Set up monitoring, alerting, logging and tested backups
- Harden servers and keep runtimes and dependencies up to date
What you bring
- 3+ years running production Linux servers
- Strong experience with Nginx, GitHub Actions and Docker
